چکیده
Understanding the permeability-porosity relationships is key to improving reservoir prediction and exploitation especially in carbonate reservoirs, which are known for their complex textural diagenetic variation. Rock type classifications have long been proven be an effective technique establishing permeability- porosity relationships, enhance capability capture various flow behavior uncored zones. This study highlights some of those practical theoretically-correct methods, such as Hydraulic Flow Unit (HFU); Global hydraulic element (GHE), Winland’s R35 method, Pittman Lucia method. They proposed tested identification characterization rock types using a database 555 core plugs from Miocene Nam Con Son basin. It large isolated build-up structure were deposited within shallow marine platform interior dominated by coral, red algal foraminiferal packstones, wackestones grainstones. Hydrocarbons this found upper most part late formation. Conventional data first used define display cross plot permeability porosity. Different charts cutoff thresholds classified, defined number linear non-linear equations established. The predicted was calculated different methods compared with actual each type. predictions HFU method recognized give better matching measured coefficient more than 89%.

A Review of Reservoir Rock Typing Methods in Carbonate Reservoirs: Relation between Geological, Seismic, and Reservoir Rock Types
Carbonate reservoirs rock typing plays a pivotal role in the construction of reservoir static models and volumetric calculations. The procedure for rock type determination starts with the determination of depositional and diagenetic rock types through petrographic studies of the thin sections prepared from core plugs and cuttings. In the second step of rock typing study, electrofacies are deter...
متن کاملRock typing and reservoir zonation based on the NMR logging and geological attributes in the mixed carbonate-siliciclastic Asmari Reservoir
Rock typing is known as the best way in heterogeneous reservoirs characterization. The rock typing methods confine to various aspects of the rocks such as multi-scale and multi-modal pore types and size, rock texture, diagenetic modifications and integration of static/dynamic data. Integration of static and dynamic behavior of rocks and their sedimentary features are practiced in this study. Po...

the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.
Experimental Study and Simulation of Different EOR Techniques in a Non-Fractured Carbonate Core from an Iranian Offshore Oil Reservoir
In this research the experimental and theoretical studies on different Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques, i.e. Water Flooding (WF), Gas Injection (GI) and Water Alternating Gas process (WAG) were performed on specimens taken from an Iranian carbonate offshore reservoir at the reservoir condition. The experimental results for each specified techniques were compared with the correspondin...
